The Christian Rambling Club was founded in 1981 to provide opportunities to enjoy walking at the weekend whilst still having Christian fellowship. We organise a programme of walking weekends and weeks away throughout the year in many different parts of the UK. We usually stay in Youth Hostels but occasionally use other venues. |

|
We offer all types of walking - mountain, moorland, low level and coastal. Sometimes we run themed events which combine walking with music, art or wildlife. We also run the occasional cycling event.
Each event is graded according to its level of difficulty so you can know what to expect.
The number attending each event varies, but averages 10 for most events rising to about 80 for the bigger events such as the AGM or New Year events. |

The national club has about 500 members who come from a wide range of occupations and church denominations. There is a wide age range and a good male / female mix. |

We also have a fairly extensive network of local groups who organise day walks at the weekend, usually on a Saturday, once a month in their local area and occasional weekends away. The local groups are run independently of the national club. You do not need to join the national club to attend their events. To find out whether there is a local group in your area and how to contact them please visit the local groups page. |
