Who can join?

Membership is open to any professing Christian aged 18 and over who acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Associate membership is available at the discretion of the committee to those who are in sympathy with the aims and Christian ethos of the club but who are unable to sign the declaration of faith. Associate members may not lead walk or events, vote, nominate committee members or serve on the committee.

Families are welcome, but children under 18 may only attend events with a parent or guardian who is responsible for them at all times.

You are welcome to try a couple of events as a guest before you join.

How to join

If you wish to join then please complete the membership form and send it with the appropriate subscription to the membership secretary, who will acknowledge it and send you, the latest programme, a newsletter and some club publicity. Please make cheques payable to Christian Rambling Club.

Annual subscription rates are:

Individual £15             Couple / families £21             Unwaged £6

Membership runs from Jan 1st – Dec 31st, but if you join Oct-Dec your initial subscription covers the whole of the following year. Members and Associates receive quarterly mailings of newsletters and programmes. A membership renewal form is included with the last mailing of the year.

Data protection

We keep the membership details on a computer for the purpose of club administration only. Names and contact details are available to the committee members and to the event leaders if they are needed. Also a small team will see the addresses as they prepare the envelopes for the club mailing. We will never disclose your personal details to any one without your permission.

Please inform the membership secretary of any changes in name, address, and phone number or email address as soon as possible.

Photographs that are taken on club events maybe used on the website or in the newsletter unless you inform the photographer to the contrary.
